NAME: James M. Lind


Biography: James M. Lind, 27, a well-known city activist for people with AIDS, died Sunday from complications of AIDS at the Philadelphia Nursing Home. He was a resident of Marion Homes, a West Philadelphia hospice for AIDS patients. Mr. Lind, a Connecticut native known as Jimmy to friends, had held a variety of jobs, including security guard and flower shop employee. He was diagnosed as having AIDS 3 1/2 years ago.
