NAME: Frank Kelly


Biography:


Frank Kelly, 44, a religious artist, singer and actor, died Tuesday of complications due to AIDS at Betak, a hospice in Germantown. Mr. Kelly, who was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Father Judge High School, studied for the priesthood at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, and was valedictorian of the school's 1972 graduating class. He spent four years after graduation as a monk at the Abbey of Gethsemani near Bardstown, Ky., where he painted and learned to make icons.
