NAME: Oliver Jordan


Biography: From 1994 Unity, Inc. Calendar: Oliver Jordan was appointed in July 1990 as Executive Director of the Mayor's Commission on People With Disabilities. He was reappointed and later promoted to Assistant Deputy Mayor by Mayor Edward G. Rendell in 1992. Prior to his appointment, Oliver worked for the American Red Cross as a Blood Service Representative, coordinating blood drives for corporate and government accounts. he was appointed as a member of the Mayor's Commission on People with Disabilities in 1987. Oliver was a member and former Board President of Resources for Living Independently Center (RLI) and served on the boards of the Legal Clinic for the Disabled and ActionAIDS. He is a 1984 graduate of Temple University.
