Biography: JOHN S. HEPPENSTALL ACTOR, 38 John Staunton Heppenstall, 38, an actor, died Tuesday at his home in Bryn Mawr of complications of AIDS. A native of Gladwyne, Mr. Heppenstall graduated cum laude from Boston University, then moved to New York to work as an actor. He had roles in off-Broadway productions and also acted in plays in the Southampton Playhouse on Long Island. Mr. Heppenstall, who had been living on Montauk, Long Island, in recent years, had returned to Bryn Mawr a few weeks ago.
