NAME: Frank Broderick


Biography: Frank Broderick, 38, a founder and editor of Philadelphia's gay news magazine Au Courant, died Monday at Graduate Hospital of complications from AIDS. Born in Darby and raised in Havertown, Mr. Broderick graduated in 1976 from Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in journalism. His first job was with the Philadelphia Gay News, where he worked for more than six years as writer and editor. A quiet man, his writing often sparkled with wit and attentiveness to detail.
