Alex Urkoff, 42, a partner in the Philadelphia advertising and marketing firm of Alexander Charles & Co., died Sunday at his home from complications related to AIDS.
Mr. Urkoff fulfilled a lifelong dream when he founded his own advertising and marketing firm in 1986, after spending four years in Minneapolis as director of advertising for Northern Diversified Energies.
