NAME: Michael Biello


Biography:

Michael Biello’s decorative light sculptures are infused with a strong design sense, humor, risk, romance, rhythm, zen, emotion and spirit.

Biello’s chandeliers combine classic white earthenware clay forms - black and white striped cones, brilliant red glazed spheres - with other materials including antique brass and Venetian crystal.

His anthropomorphic ceramic sculptures illuminate images of Buddha, monkeys, and the human form.

An interdisciplinary artist, Biello has also created critically acclaimed and award-winning work in [theater, performance art, and dance.]
