Azevedo, Alziro

Alziro Azevedo came to Philadelphia from Porto Allegre, Brazil in 1982 on a Fulbright Scholarship to study at Temple University. His studies were in the theatre department doing set design - he was amazingly talented and had a warm and charming personality. He returned to Porto Allegre ca 1986 and joined the faculty at the university there. He died there in the mid-1990's.
