Mr. Marcelonis, who graduated from Temple University with a degree in music composition, was a composer and playwright. He also formed a band and oratorio choir, played folk music at area coffeehouses, and did stand-up comedy at venues from Philadelphia to Hollywood. The connection between the ancient killer disease and the contemporary one is obvious, and Marcelonis expects a theatergoer to make it.
