Biography:
Services will be Saturday for Charles Eugene Cook, 57, an anthropology professor who in his last years fell in love with ragtime music. He died last week at Pennsylvania Hospital due to complications from AIDS. Mr. Cook, a Center City resident, was an associate professor of anthropology and head of the department of social services at Community
College of Philadelphia. He also was a longtime musician who studied piano and French horn and played in the concert and marching bands
