NAME: George Francis Sheasley

Biography:

I am searching for friends of my late brother, George Sheasley. I am his older sister. At the time of his death at age 33 in 1986, he lived in Olney, Philadelphia, PA, before that in a carriage house on a Christmas tree farm near Peddlers Village, Bucks County, PA, and before that in an apartment complex in Penndel, Bucks County, PA, behind the "airplane" restaurant.

I have just watched the LOGO documentary, "Where Ocean Meets Sky" for the third time because I keep thinking I'll see him in it as I know he went there. After losing my other brother, Bill, in 2004, from cancer, I sometimes feel sad and abandoned. Watching this documentary always makes me think of George.

George kept his actual social life pretty much isolated from his family, but we were acquainted with many of his friends and spent many weekends at the carriage house with him and his friends. I know a lot of them did not survive the epidemic, because they all got it before anyone knew it was out there.
