He trained with Barbara Weisberger, former director of the Pennsylvania ballet, and was the first male recipient of a Ford Foundation scholarship to the School of American Ballet. Mr. Rodham danced with the New York City Ballet and the Pennsylvania Ballet, for which he also served as ballet master, resident choreographer and associate artistic director. He danced in classical and contemporary ballet roles and was noted for his special sensitivity to the Balanchine repertory.
