Alex Urkoff, 42, a partner in the Philadelphia advertising and marketing firm of Alexander Charles & Co., died Sunday at his home from complications related to AIDS. Mr. Urkoff fulfilled a lifelong dream when he founded his own advertising and marketing firm in 1986, after spending four years in Minneapolis as director of advertising for Northern Diversified Energies. His Philadelphia business handled projects on behalf of the Philadelphia Society for Services to Children,
