Source: Andy Wallace, INQUIRER STAFF WRITER Joel Emanuel Harris, 48, a loner who was so enthralled by public transportation systems that he turned his basement into a miniature SEPTA, died Friday from complications of AIDS at his home in West Oak Lane. Mr. Harris, who graduated from Jason Vocational High School, worked for more than 10 years at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center in Logan, preparing and serving food to residents.
